FX Particle Builder – Trapcode Particular Particle Maker
Trapcode Particular is one of my most used and favourite plugins. Whenever I need to add particles in After Effects – Trapcode Particular is my go to tool.
Trapcode Particular is a very powerful plugin but sometimes it can take a bit of time to tweak the parameters to get it to work with your footage. FX Particle Builder appears to be a promising and inexpensive solution to really speed up your particle workflow, especially if you’re a motion designer on a deadline.
They’ve created an interface inside After Effects that makes it super fast and easy to add Trapcode Particular particles – smoke, fire, dust, flames or magic effects onto photos and video.
To add particles to your footage you simply brush the desired area where you would like the particles to appear or alternatively you can apply particles using an Alpha layer. The point emitter feature also allows you to animate particles along a motion path. Check out the video above to see what FX Particle Builder can do.
