3D Photo Animator for After Effects turns images into amazing 3D animations. There are ways to do this in AE manually but this makes the process much faster and easier and appears to give much better results - worth checking out.

Loads of great tips on compositing and setting up Trapcode Particular to create this awesome Dr Strange Portal effect. Definitely worth 7 mins of your time.
